How to use it

  2. Say the letter or word aloud together.

  4. Celebrate every finished row and colour the stars at the top.

About the letter: ي

  • Yaa (ي) sounds like 'y' as in 'yes' (also a long 'ee'); it has two dots below.
  • It joins the next letter, so it has four forms: ي يـ ـيـ ـي.
  • It looks like Baa (ب); the dots tell them apart.
  • Also spelled: Yaa, Ya.
